Mr. Move – Terms and Conditions

Welcome to Mr. Move. By engaging our services, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully to understand your rights and responsibilities.

 

1. Service Agreement

Mr. Move provides packing, moving, and storage services. All services are rendered based on the details provided by the client. Any changes or additions to the service must be communicated in writing and may incur additional charges.

 

2. Booking and Cancellation

Bookings should be made in advance to ensure availability. Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the scheduled service may be subject to a cancellation fee.

 

3. Packing and Inventory

Clients are encouraged to be present during packing and inventory preparation. Mr. Move will not be responsible for items not listed in the inventory.

 

4. Transportation

While we take utmost care in handling your belongings, Mr. Move is not liable for delays caused by unforeseen circumstances such as traffic, weather conditions, or governmental restrictions.

 

5. Insurance

Clients are advised to insure their goods. Mr. Move offers basic transit insurance; however, for comprehensive coverage, clients should opt for full-value protection through third-party insurers.

 

6. Claims and Liability

Any claims for damage or loss must be reported within 72 hours of delivery.

For vehicles, claims must be reported within 12 hours of delivery.

No claims will be entertained for items packed by the client without prior inspection by Mr. Move.

Mr. Move is not liable for internal damages to electronic items unless there is visible external damage.

Claims related to emotional distress or consequential losses are not entertained.

7. Storage Services

For clients availing storage services:

All items must be listed and acknowledged in the inventory.

Access to stored items requires prior notice of at least 24 hours.

Storage charges are billed monthly, and delayed payments may attract penalties.

 

8. Client Responsibilities

Clients must ensure that:

All items are declared and listed.

Valuables, perishables, and hazardous materials are not included in the shipment.

Proper arrangements are made for parking and permissions at pickup and delivery locations.

 

9. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from the services provided by Mr. Move will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts in the city where the service was rendered.

 

10. Amendments

Mr. Move reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions without prior notice. Clients are advised to review the terms periodically.
